"History Speaks Across Generations" - this is the motto of the Congress of National Remembrance organised by the Institute of National Remembrance at the PGE National Stadium in Warsaw. This is the first event of its kind, offering historical debates, games, exhibitions, workshops, film screenings and much more to enthusiasts of our history.

To the most well-known Polish stadium, they have invited, among others, distinguished historians, educators, publicists, bloggers and vloggers, young programmers, social activists and veterans.

Their proposal is to tell the story of Poland's recent history in a way that appeals to every generation: both older people, who remember the difficult 20th century very well, and young people, who learn through new technologies, multimedia and fun.

The idea of presenting our national heritage in such a varied way to a wide audience is a response to the results of social research commissioned by the Institute of National Remembrance concerning the historical knowledge of Poles and their attitudes towards the past. The presentation of the results of the in-depth report "Education for Remembrance" is one of the most important points of the Congress. We will also discuss what modern, attractive historical education should be based on.

The programme also includes theatre for the youngest, board games olympics or historical reconstructions - there is something for everyone.
